If it’s not night, the sun always shines. Whatever is happening weather wise – whether it’s cloudy, dreary and rainy, whether it’s stormy, windy and cold, whether it’s snowing, blowing and howling – the sun is shining behind the clouds!
One of my absolute favorite things is ascending on an airplane, through the massive clouds, settling towards the destination, the sun in the horizon. That’s where my faith is always confirmed, where I am overwhelmed by the endless beauty and the supernatural calmness of the skies above the clouds.
In my heart, I can rest in knowing that even though life here on earth is sometimes chaotic, hectic and tiring, our beautiful Lord and Savior, Jesus, is always there. He is the SON that came down to this earth in the form of a human. He lived among us, he died on the cross for our sins and for our sicknesses. Whatever the circumstance beyond your control, or if your heart is willingly cloudy, trust in him, let his love shine on you, and let his peace embrace you.
