Hello, I’m Kat and I’m a Lost-a-holic, a Java-holic, Snack-holic, Fam-a-holic, Clean-a-holic, Book-a-holic and there was a day, I was an Alco-holic, but more about that at another time!
… yes, I’m a many-a-holic!
In Google Analytics for this blog, I can see that my “Javaholic” post has the most views. Is it because there is something intriguing, interesting or shocking about being a “holic”? Is there something about that ending that awakens a persons curiosity?
I guess, overall I have tendencies to “over-do” things.
My hubby and I have a tradition to have a snack after we have put the kids to bed. It can be chips and salsa, it can be cinnamon rolls and tea, and it can be ice creammmmm!
Last nights treat was Ben and Jerry’s “Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough” and “Chocolate Fudge Brownie”. [Here in Sweden we pay an arm and a leg for this awesome stuff]. You can see in the photo that my preference is for the “CCCD” with a small scoop of the “CFB” – my hubby’s bowl looked the opposite!
Now, what does the broken scooper say about us? That we were too anxious to get to that ice cream, that it was an old scooper or that we are just plain old strong? That is the mystery!
I want to be a Life-holic… I want to be high on Life! I want to live my life to the fullest. This life that I have been given by Jesus Christ is so amazing. Is it perfect? No! Is it without pain and suffering? No! Is it worth living? Yes! Is it full-filling? Yes, yes, yes!
What are your “holic” tendencies? Are they things that bring life or are they destructive?
During this Holiday Season, I hope and pray that you will have peace and joy in your heart. Be a life-a-holic!
